We wanted to announce that 3 of our CService bots have retired. K9, Q and Z have retired from IRC4Fun and will (for now) remain juped. (All channels that were assigned to the 3 service bots have been re-assigned to W and X)
Good News IRC4Fun’ers!
Channels and Nicknames will now expire after 90 days of no use. Previously, Channels and Nicknames would expire after 30 days of no use.
We hope this will better serve our network users!
Today IRC4Fun changed the Channel Expirations time in C to match N‘s nickname expiration time. Channels and Nicknames will both now expire after no use for 30 days. The previous limit was 28 days of non-activity before expiration. This limit change was to balance consistancy and be more clear to users.
Remember: If you are going to be gone for 30 days or longer; please ask for assistance in #Help to prevent your nickname and/or channel from expiring.
